For more than 12 years, Bill Eikenberry has represented clients in construction defect litigation and general construction matters, and as chair of the firm’s construction group, Bill also represents owners, contractors and suppliers in connection with mechanics’ liens and bond claims. Bill is a Member of the American Subcontractors Association and a regular speaker on construction topics. He has written numerous articles on such topics as mechanics’ lien perfection and enforcement, the Colorado Trust Fund Statute and retention.
Real estate litigation and representing homebuyers in cases of broker or seller misrepresentation/non-disclosure is another component of Bill’s litigation practice. In addition, he handles all facets of commercial collection, from obtaining and collecting judgment against primary debtors, third-parties based on fraudulent transfer and alter ego liability, to commercial contract defaults and U.C.C. collateral repossession cases. Bill’s high-profile clients have included AT&T Corp., Harley Davidson Credit, Eaglemark Financial Services, Snap-on Credit, Discover Bank and Wachovia. Bill is also a Member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys.
A graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in finance, and Thomas M. Cooley Law School in East Lansing, Michigan, Bill has spent his legal career practicing in Denver and spends his spare time in the mountains, biking, fly fishing and skiing.
